Special Projects: Co Create Opportunity Project; Comprehensive Community Broadband, Digital Equity, and Inclusion Solutions for Communities.
- 1. Current Projects: Pueblo Opportunity Project and Adelante Connect, City of Pueblo and CSU Pueblo. Term of Contract: 3-5 years with goal to obtain $20 Million in funding for Broadband Services for the Pueblo Area. Services Provided and Number of People Served: Estimated population of 200,000 in greater Pueblo area wide broadband, digital literacy, equity, and inclusion project. The project encourages improvements in broadband infrastructure while delivering Digital Literacy, Equity and Digital inclusion services for neighborhoods across the area. The team will work with community anchors in education, healthcare, workforce development, housing, and economic improvements to apply for federal, state, local and private grants to bring broadband grants in all areas to improve services over the next 3-5 years.
- 2. Aegis Identity Software, Inc (Jan. 2012 to June 2017), Strategic Marketing Consultant/Director, Public Private Partnerships: Investor/Coordinator of initial stock offering raising 1.5 million, developed a Friends and Family Investor Network total of 4.2 million. Developed P20 and K12 Initiative strategy, aligning with national, state, and regional sales efforts. Initiated P20 Granting Strategy, aligning P20 Education IdM Technology, Program Development and Community Engagement company strategy. Strategic Marketing; target market research efforts i.e., Hispanic Serving Institutes, IdM competitive market analysis, database development and management, social media audit, and development of social media plan. Social Media/Digital Marketing Strategy implementation and management; Hoot Suite and Survey Monkey communications management. Developed and managed collaborative partnership with numerous public private partners.
- 3. Pueblo School Dist. #60, “Community Technology Partnership”, Technology Fiber Optic Network Project. 17.5 million. Services Provided: Environmental scan research (Primary and Secondary) in Technology/Fiber Optic System Development and Deployment for an Educational/Community System. Development of School Community Technology Mobilization Framework, Development of Pueblo School District #60/Community Technology Partnership Strategic Plan, Initial Design of School District #60 Forty-Eight Mile Fiber Network. Created four Request for Proposals, Organization and Management of planning Events, Project Development and Management, and Community Mobilization Strategy.
- 4. The Colorado Trust, Access to Health Partners Project, 2.5 million (2008 – 2011), Services Provided: Lead Consultant for Colorado State University - Pueblo Collaborative Partnership. Responsible for 14- month regional comprehensive community planning project for twenty-two counties, and consulting support during 22-month Implementation Phase. Designed comprehensive planning process model, integration and alignment of evaluation change model, utilization of various facilitative methodologies necessary for community planning events. Facilitation of community visioning forums, community work groups, CLIP and Naturally Occurring Group dialogues sessions. Interface with all project planning partners and communities. Provide technical assistance to project partners and communities; convened and facilitated cross cultural, organizational and community alignment sessions, and the integration of strategic marketing strategy. Services provided in both English and Spanish.
- 5. Colorado Not for Profit Development Center, The Colorado Trust, Community Partnership Strategy. $22,828,157.00 (8/17 to 3/20). Co Create LLC provided the following services to the Avondale Resident Team: Created partnership with CSU-Pueblo for research and support; Hasan School of Business-2 interns and CBASE Title Five Hispanic Serving Institute funding-2 interns. Provided Community Strategic Development services and developed Community Health Equity plan for 1.5 million for equity community programming. Program Implementation Consulting/Technical Assistance and Coaching services in; Strategic Marketing/Branding/Social Media, ART (Avondale Resident Team) website, and direct e-mail marketing. Additional topic areas; Community Partnership & Opportunities Strategies, Digital Marketing and Plan, Community Integration Strategy, Community Advocacy Strategy, Community Technology Strategy, Sustainability Planning and Granting, and Program Leadership and Management.
- 6. Project Name: Colorado Educational Broadband Coalition Broadband, Term of Contract: Yearly E-Rate RFP for more than 50 school districts and additional non-erate anchor institutions. Services Provided and Number of People Served: This year more than 50 school districts across the state participated in the 5 th year of the CEBC group RFP for broadband services. The CEBC has been able to improve costs to districts that originally averaged more than $30 per MB and are now paying as little as $.80 cents per MB. This saving for some districts was enough to hire an additional teacher to work with kids each year and improve the reliability, security, and quality of broadband services across the state.
- 7. Project Name: Statewide BTOP Broadband Grant, Term of Contract: $100 Million Grant with 25 percent match from multiple entities. Services Provided and Number of People Served: Services available to over 150 Community Anchor Institutions Statewide. Grant Development services including creation of Business Case, Network Design, Public-Private Partnerships, Funding, Environmental, and Permitting with the goal of delivering reliable, robust, affordable broadband fiber backhaul, networking and wireless services to communities across the state.
- 8. Project Name: Princeton Fiber Project, Term of Contract: Ongoing since 2018. Services Provided and Number of People: Development of fiber backhaul, networking and wireless services to a community virtually unserved in a rural mountainous part of Chaffee County. Phase one delivered 1 GB service at half the cost of the original 30 mb service. With improvements in cost, reliability, and quality of broadband the anchor institution improved communications, realized economic opportunities and is working in Phase 2 to share broadband services with residents in the community that are currently unable to receive broadband services due to the geography in the canyon.
